In the class there are variety of students, high achievers and low achievers, both have good background knowledge and the teacher tries to make the low achievers participate. The teacher should encourage them to play together, the high and low achievers and have good time together. They don’t have to discriminate themselves between high and low. The students will be happy when there is equality between them. Thus, this will encourage the students to work as a team or in groups and become more motivated to participate.
The students like to talk about their real life experiences and
when the teacher asked them to give her examples from their real life; they
will be very happy and highly motivated to share their experience with others. Sometimes the students laugh on their
friends’ mistake and transmit talk about others, but the teacher should always
warn them about this issue. Sometimes
they nag about their homework or exams if they have many things to do since
most of the students at this age and even older do this.
Students are like our children they need care
and attention, to be valued and respected.
They feel very happy and more motivated when the teacher gives them a
positive feedback like excellent, good job, keep working and try to be better
and many other positive feedback. This
makes them feel as good and hard workers so they will participate and say their
answers. So as teachers, I think that we should know
their needs and know how to fill out and adapt with.
