the problem here that some of teachers don't know how to react with these kinds of kids which make them nerves at other students and make them feel exhausted so as teacher we must take care of this
ReplyDeleteAs you have said Suzan i totally agree that a teacher must educate herself about the kind of disorder she faces with a student. So if we look to what the school setting requires children to do: Sit still, listen quietly, pay attention, follow instructions, concentrate. But kids with ADHD have a hard time doing—not because they aren’t willing, but because their brains won’t let them, which means that doesn’t make teaching them any easier. That's why a teacher must educate herself in order to know how to deal with this kind of students.

ADHD students are too emotional and face difficulties in expressing themselves , they usually make troubles in class and at home, because they cannot concentrate for al long time , and they like to attract other attention. One way to help ADHD student is to motivate them a lot and believe in their abilities, they need to feel that the teacher care for them.

ReplyDeleteThis is an interesting topic Suzan, but adding on what you have suggested, I recommend that the parents play a part too, they should teach him restraint and self control, that's not only your job. The teacher should always have a talk with the parents about this. The kid might be doing this for attention.
